The Chery Master also stated that they plans to introduce both models Tiggo- 7 and Tiggo- 9 as a locally assembled vehicles rather than fully built-up (CBU) imports.
Coming to the the Production facility, it will spans over 60 acres, with an investment of about $150 million. Along with product facility, Chery Master is also expanding its dealership network nationally, which is likely 10 dealerships across Pakistan.
Chery Master also mentioned about Plug-in hybrid (PHEV), but it didn’t confirm whether Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology will be introduced in the locally assembled models of Tiggo- 7 and Tiggo- 9. The regular internal combustion machine (ICE) interpretation of the Tiggo 9, still, is expected to be produced locally.
This is a great move by Cherry Master and a major comeback in Pakistan’s SUV Market.
